Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in the Tampa Bay Area is currently in need of locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team.

Requirements:

  • Must be BC ABEM AOBEM
  • If BE, must be BC w/in 5 years of completion of EM training program and have ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
  • HCA experience preferred if not Parallon Course for HCA must be completed
  • Good time management skills
  • Great Customer Service ability to manage up teams.
  • Efficiency skills. Rule out immediate emergencies and then make a disposition of admit or discharge.
  • 6 shifts a month minimum

Practice Details:

  • Shift Times: (main ED Physicians) 6a-2p, 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 9a-8p, 11a-10p, 5p-5a, 7p-7a, 9p-7a +scribes
  • Shift coverage: PEDS 24 hours and MLPs 59 hours
  • Patient Age Range: All ages
  • Providers will be needed at least through the flu season of next year which should be around April 2017, if not longer
