Job Description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pharm.D.-trained Clinical Pharmacist to provide locum tenens coverage at a Community Health Center in Windsor, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced outpatient pharmacy team serving a rural community in a collaborative primary care setting.

Schedule

Preferred Coverage:

  • Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Every Other Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Coverage Needed: 2-3 days per week

Position Highlights

Responsibilities
  • Review and dispense prescription medications
  • Provide medication counseling and patient education
  • Monitor medication therapy for safety and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with primary care providers on medication management
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Support efficient pharmacy operations and quality patient care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in an outpatient, Community Health Center, or ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Familiarity with the 340B Federal Drug Pricing Program is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
