Description:This position is responsible for the planning, laying out work, setting up, and operating a combination of the basic machine tools listed below to perform grinding operations at a level of work as described under the specialized machinists classifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Set up and work experience on 5 axis mills and/or CNC lathes and manual mills.
Experience with reading blueprints.
Experience with machine shop measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and intra mics.
Desired Skills:
Experience with 5 axis CNC mills
Experience with manual mills
Experience with manual and CNC lathes
Clearance Level: None
