Description:You're a team player with a passion for machining and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you. You will be the General Machinist C. Our team is responsible for setting up and performing primary machining operations on various computer-controlled and conventional machines to produce high-quality parts and assemblies. We implement machining operations using standard fixtures, robotics, and automation to meet engineering requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the General Machinist C, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform semi-complex machining operations, working with engineering drawings and instructions to produce accurate parts. Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating and implementing machining operations using computer numerically controlled machines, lathes, mills, and grinders
• Setting up and operating machines with standard fixtures, robotics, and automation
• Inspecting and measuring machined parts for accuracy using precision measuring equipment
• Performing rework, cleaning, and deburring of parts to facilitate machining operations

Basic Qualifications:
-High School degree or equivalent.
-Six (6) months to two (2) years' experience or equivalent trades training.
- Ability to operate CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings using GD&T
(geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to operate Nexus, Variaxis, and/or Intergrex.
- Experience with CNC lathes and/or vertical milling
machines.
- Ability to use Mazak, Siemens, and/or HAAS Controllers.
- Experience with Zoller Tool setting equipment or similar
systems.
