Job description

The Women's Locker Room Manager leads with consistency, professionalism, and hospitality to ensure a clean, welcoming, and service-focused environment for members and guests. This role oversees all aspects of the daily operation of the women's locker room, including cleanliness, supply stocking, reception desk service, and attendant performance. Key responsibilities include maintaining high service standards, supervising and supporting staff, and ensuring the locker room is well-maintained, well-stocked, and aligned with Club expectations. The Manager plays a vital role in creating a comfortable and elevated guest experience through hands-on leadership and attention to detail.
Pay Rate: $50,000-55,000 annual compensation
Schedule: 45-50 hour per week, one weekend day required
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Leadership:
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and promptly resolving member and staff concerns.
  • Ensure all team members consistently uphold East Bank Club's standards of hospitality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture through strong leadership and a robust work ethic.

Staff Management:
  • Assess staffing needs and manage the hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling for all Women's Locker Room positions.
  • Oversee schedules and payroll, timecards, commissions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, quarterly service training, and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Supervise daily employee assignments and workflows. Monitor performance standards to ensure staffing levels align with service demand.
  • Enforce company policies, manage disciplinary actions, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Develop, mentor, and empower receptionists and attendants to handle all issues on the floor when manager is not present.

Service Oversight:
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality locker room services.
  • Develop and implement service protocols and safety training for staff to ensure compliance and guest well-being.
  • Stay current with industry trends to introduce competitive and innovative service offerings and value additions to our members.
  • Support spa service scheduling, cancellations, and any necessary adjustments.

Operations & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and receiving for retail and amenity products relevant to the locker room.
  • Ensure product merchandising, loss prevention, and retail setups align with Club goals.
  • Process vendor billing and manage product entries in operating systems.
  • Support budget planning, goal setting, and track monthly performance metrics.
  • Collaborate on marketing and merchandising strategies to enhance service offerings.

Daily Operations:
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across all areas of the Women's Locker Room, including the reception desk, service areas, and storage.
  • Monitor and replenish supply stock levels for retail items and operational needs.
  • Address interdepartmental needs and maintain vendor relationships to optimize overall service quality.

Financial Oversight:
  • Analyze financial performance to inform decision-making and drive productivity/profitability.
  • Monitor sales and locker rental trends, offering insights to achieve budget and revenue targets.
  • Oversee regular inventory counts, locker audits, and implement cost controls to meet margin objectives.

Requirements
Physical Requirements:
  • Regular office work onsite in a work facility with stairs and an elevator.
  • Ability to work at a computer and stand for extended periods of time, communicate in person, via phone and Zoom (or another virtual platform).
  • Abilities to lift up to 25 pounds, frequent ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • Occasional need to use a ladder for stock/inventory needs.
  • Possible travel to meetings and conferences in and out of town, which may include overnight accommodations.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership ability and positive team collaboration. Strategic thinker; ability to analyze and solve issues quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, works well under pressure and independently, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred/Plus:
  • Prior management of a team consisting of 10 or more.
  • Experience in upscale/high-hospitality environment.
