Position: Russian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Russian, ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality written outputs in Russian and English, capturing nuances and dialectal variations.
  • Establish evaluation standards and develop rubrics for Russian and English audio contexts.
  • Conduct model testing, evaluate outputs, and provide feedback to improve performance in Russian tasks.
  • Support QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability in datasets and benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and enhance task design.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Russian and professional fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with spoken Russian, regional vocabulary, and dialects.
  • Ability to transcribe and analyze Russian audio content.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Available to commit 10–20 hours per week.

Preferred

  • College students or recent graduates.
  • Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, translation/localization, or technical disciplines.
  • Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Russian.
