Job description

Resmed's Global Creative team functions as a full-service in-house agency that drives growth for the business. We deliver world-class, award-winning storytelling and creative solutions that build awareness around, and demand for, Resmed's offerings. We operate through an in-house model that supports global-to-local campaign execution through a geographically distributed team enabled by emerging technologies and "follow the sun" operations. Our transformation journey is being driven by thoughtful, highly collaborative talent intent on bringing stories to life to achieve business objectives.

We're looking for a Sr. Video editor who will lead storytelling efforts across all formats and touch-points for the brand including broadcast, digital/social, and emerging platforms. The ideal candidate will have a core strength in at least one editorial style (live action, documentary, motion graphics, or comedy), along with strong technical awareness for managing offline to delivery. In addition, they will understand global marketing needs and be capable of handling complex projects from concept to delivery.

The work of our motion team encompasses brand marketing campaigns; instructional video content aimed at both healthcare professionals and patients related to the use of our products; informational videos for our employees; and social content for a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit, assemble, and polish video content for marketing campaigns and corporate communications.
  • Contribute to ideation sessions and propose creative solutions for global audiences.
  • Craft compelling narratives that align with brand voice and global marketing strategy
  • Apply advanced techniques such as motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and visual effects
  • Partner with creative teams including writers, designers, producers and other creatives to develop and implement video concepts.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of detail and creativity.
  • Adapt content for localization and cultural relevance in international markets.
  • Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and quality standards
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies including Gen-AI, AR/VR, and other immersive platforms.
  • Ensure deliverables are optimized for multiple platforms, including web, broadcast,


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably within an agency or global marketing environment.
  • Expert proficiency of one or more Editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Collaborative competency and familiarity with adjacent tools and platforms such as After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
  • Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail, pacing, and visual design.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt content for diverse audiences and cultural contexts.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior editors is a plus.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $97,000 - $121,000.

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
