Job description

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Localization Post Producer is responsible for overseeing the timeline and workflow of their project team to ensure the successful delivery of localization projects. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project challenges as well as anticipate and mitigate risks related to budget, scope, and timeline. Possesses comprehensive expertise in localization and post production to act as a key member and voice of a project. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Serve as the Post Producer lead on localization projects, involving many aspects of post production. 
  • Work with Senior Post Producer & Executive Producer to provide project updates, share potential concerns, project team needs, etc. 
  • Lead project team from kick off to delivery, delegate team responsibilities, and manage project feedback. 
  • Track project progress, burn and provide updates to Senior Producer/EP. 
  • Manage voiceover talent casting, booking, and session coordination. Oversee recording sessions to ensure quality standards, proper direction of talent, and adherence to project specifications.  
  • Alert Senior Producer/EP and Account team for any changes to project scope and timeline. 
  • Provide guidance and delegate tasks to Coordinators for active projects. 
  • When additional team support is required, provide insights to length, project budget impacts and talent needs to Senior Producer/EP. 
  • Maintain and enforce production and localization process guidelines, templates and workflows. 
  • Act as lead Producer and trusted advisor to each project with regards to Account and Client communications 
  • Collaborate with the internal IT department on production stability, software and hardware needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 2+ years in a post production environment 
  • 2+ years in a Post Producer role 
  • Deep understanding of the post production process 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Competent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex project tracking 
  • Excellent time management skills and verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to think critically and progressively to find creative solutions for any problem 
  • Demonstrates professionalism and maintains composure under pressure 
  • Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlines 
  • Has led a project team of over 5 people 
  • Efficient problem solver in a studio environment 

This position is in the office 3 days a week.
