Job description

TITLE: Class A CDL Local Shuttle Driver

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The role of the CDL Driver is to safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Legal eligibility to work in the US
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Current Class "A" CDL.
  • Current Medical Card.
  • Clean driving record for the last 2 years.
  • Must be 22 years of age in accordance with Section 391.11(b)(1) of FMCR.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others.
  • Must be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate
  • Familiar with DOT Regulation.
  • Workdays may range between 8 to 14 hours per day.
  • Work week may not exceed 70 hours.
  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including the checking of tire pressures
