Description
We're searching for a houseperson/shuttle driver with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to make sure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. We require a multi-talented person capable of handling a wide range of duties. Responsibilities for this position include keeping the hotel's public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies.
Additionally, you will help deliver guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and perform any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers. This position will include safely driving and transporting our guests to and from the airport and train station in a company vehicle, assisting with loading/unloading luggage, and answering questions about local attractions or events. Responsibilities
• Transport clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor
• Anticipate, listen intently, and respond quickly to visitors' requirements to provide the best quality of service
• Assure a clean environment in the guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and other work areas
• Begin each shift by visiting assigned floors and collect trash, dirty linen, and other materials as instructed by management
• Bring requested supplies, such as rollaway beds, cribs, and blankets, to guest rooms
Qualifications
• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)
• Solid work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
