VCU Shuttle Operator (CDL Required) – Richmond, VA

RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation is hiring CDL Shuttle Operators to support transportation services for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia.

As a VCU Shuttle Operator, you'll play an important role in safely transporting students, faculty, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.


What You'll Do


  • Safely operate shuttle buses on designated VCU routes.
  • Transport passengers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, route updates, and service issues.
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, VCU, and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist passengers as needed while providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
  • Keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready for service.


Qualifications


  • Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous commercial driving or shuttle experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shift assignments are based on operational needs.
