Overview

Description

Starting Rate: $12.91 an hour + tips ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Shuttle Drivers greet guests in a friendly and accommodating manner. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have and maintain a clean driving record. Answer any queries that the guests may have. The driver must assist disabled guests if requested. All accidents, injuries, unsafe working conditions and damage to casino vehicles and related property must be reported by the driver. Drivers may be required to lift items up to 50 lbs. into the vehicle and unload them. Safely transport casino customers between casino and their vehicle. Will also be shuttling customers to and from golf courses Drive the parking lot in shuttle/golf cart pick up guests and deliver to front of casino. Assist anyone that needs assistance in and out of shuttle. Follow all policy and procedures set forth by casino management. SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Must possess excellent communication skills. Physical dexterity to run and retrieve guest vehicle, operate manual/automatic automobiles. Observation skills of vehicle before parking, ticket writing skills, work outside, exposed to the elements in a hot or cold environment, temperature in excess of 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 6 months experience in the valet/shuttle field preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:Kansas and Oklahoma driver's license CDL or passenger endorsement preferredMissouri driver's license CDL or Class E requiredBe able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Must have a state issued driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Strength to move up to 50 lbs at a time. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours and maneuver in or outside the casino. Visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer complaints or questions. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
