EVEN Hotel Omaha Downtown is seeking an Experienced Shuttle Driver capable of consistently maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and attention to detail. As part of our hospitality team, teamwork is paramount and vital to the overall guest service experience. *Schedule flexible availability required.*.

Availability: MUST BE AVAILABLE DAYS, NIGHTS, AND WEEKENDS.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experienced in a hotel or a related field preferred.
    • Must have a valid driver's license 

Physical Requirements:

    • Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/ or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
    • Ability to stand during entire shift.

Mental requirements:

    • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
    • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of actions quickly and accurately.
    • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
    • Able to deliver superior customer service to all guests

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS

Essential:

    • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
    • Comply at all times with Anant Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
    • Greet guests in a pleasant manner.
    • Load and unload van with luggage.
    • Check/ store luggage for arrivals and departures using luggage tags.
    • Deliver messages to meeting rooms.
    • Maintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events, and activities.
    • Maintain list of local transportation guides, churches, sport arenas, etc.
    • Provide Information, maps and directions as required.
    • Maintain cleanliness of motor entrance, front door and lobby area.
    • Deliver flowers, packages and messages to guest rooms.
    • Maintain cleanliness of van interior and exterior.
    • Drive van as per scheduled runs.
    • Check trashcans/dispose of trash on each floor periodically.
    • Walk floors picking up food trays/trash/kitchen items by Guest rooms.
    • Keep lobby & parking lot clean; straighten furniture/dispose of trash in these areas.
    • Cleaning meeting spaces as needed.
    • Making sure van has accurate amount of gas at end of shift.
