Job description

  • We are hiring immediately for full time SHUTTLE DRIVER positions.
  • Location: Arkansas Children's Hospital - 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Further details upon interview. 
  • Requirement:  Prior driving experience required, must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Perks: No weekends!
  • Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: This individual will provide transportation services to passengers by driving a van/shuttle within a designated area for a client. They will be expected to professionally interact and communicate with all passengers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transports passengers along designated routes as arranged by schedule or dispatch
  • Reviews and submits vehicle work tickets when required
  • Cleans vehicles daily and performs basic maintenance functions (fills gas, adds fluids, etc.) as needed
  • Responds to emergency needs as dictated by road conditions, vehicle situations, traffic conditions or environmental situations
  • Provides overall support and customer service to all facets of the operation
  • Provides feedback to management on how services may be improved
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
  • 1 -2 years relevant customer service or driving experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changes quickly
