How does a 'Local Remote' role typically balance on-site and remote work requirements?

A 'Local Remote' role usually allows employees to work from home most of the time while still requiring periodic visits to a nearby office or client site. This hybrid setup offers flexibility for work-life balance but also ensures strong team collaboration and connection to local operations. Employees may be expected to attend in-person meetings, trainings, or team-building events, so reliable transportation and proximity to the office are important. This structure is ideal for individuals who enjoy remote work but appreciate occasional face-to-face interaction with colleagues.

Companies may require local remote workers for reasons such as time zone alignment, occasional in-person meetings, or knowledge of the local market. These roles offer flexibility while still maintaining some regional connection. Local remote jobs are common in fields like sales, customer support, and administration.
