Job description

Title: Pre or Full Licensed Therapist 

Reports to: Executive Director 

Department/Location: 100% Onsite at the Federal Way clinic

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Schedule: Position is Fulltime (40 hrs. per week) Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm PST at the Federal Way Guidelight Location. Position is primarily working with the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP/IOP) population, though will require some flexibility to cover for Adolescents depending on coverage needs and census.

Role Summary:  

Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will facilitate 1:1 and group therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.  

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs. 
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. 
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy. 
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans, as necessary. 
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care. 
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews. 
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues. 
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws. 
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. 
  • Valid Washington state, associate or independent licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LMCH, LMHCA, LICSW, LSWAIC, LMFT) 
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling. 
  • Experience providing group therapy and willingness to follow a group curriculum. 
  • Ability to manage clients in a group setting via in person and virtual platforms. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
