Job Summary
We are seeking a Java Developer with 2-4 years of professional experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices, along with exposure to modern cloud and DevOps technologies.
The candidate should be flexible regarding location and willing to relocate anywhere in the United States for the right opportunity.

Required Skills
  • 2-4 years of professional Java development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling
  • Spring Boot and Spring Framework
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
  • Unit and integration testing using JUnit/Mockito
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Cloud & Modern Development Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

  • CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Apache Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
  • Redis or other caching technologies
  • NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, or JWT
  • Knowledge of API Gateway and distributed systems
  • Experience with Kafka/event-driven architecture
  • Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK
  • Basic understanding of system design and scalable application architecture
  • Exposure to AI/LLM integration, Spring AI, or AI-enabled applications is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Build scalable REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
  • Work with SQL databases and optimize queries when required.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments.
  • Work with Kafka and event-driven systems where applicable.
  • Follow secure coding, testing, documentation, and development best practices.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or H4 EAD holder.
  • Must be willing to work on W2.
  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States for a suitable opportunity.
