Are you passionate about live events, music, and creating compelling video content? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two events are the same?
Connoisseur Media is looking for a talented, dependable, and creative Part-Time Videographer to join our Live Studio team in Milford, Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity to capture unforgettable performances, interviews, and special events featuring local and national artists, personalities, and community guests.
Working alongside our production team and reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll help bring our live events to life while gaining hands-on experience in live production, broadcasting, and event operations. If you're quick on your feet, enjoy working behind the camera, and love the energy of live entertainment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Operate professional video cameras during live music performances, interviews, and special events.
  • Follow real-time direction from the Technical Director via headset to capture dynamic, high-quality footage.
  • React quickly and professionally in a live production environment.
  • Assist with event operations, including guest check-in and audience management when needed.
  • Help coordinate meet-and-greets and support crowd flow following live sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with on-air talent, production staff, and event teams to create an outstanding guest experience.
  • Assist with other live event and promotional activities as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • 1–2 years of experience operating video cameras for live events, productions, or broadcasts.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced live environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction quickly.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work approximately 5–10 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as events require.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Working knowledge of applicable FCC rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience filming live concerts, performances, sporting events, or other live productions.
  • Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
  • Experience with live switching or directing multi-camera productions.
  • Passion for live entertainment, broadcasting, and digital content creation.
