Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Portfolio Monetization Strategy: Serve as the strategic monetization authority across all US game titles, providing expert consultation, guidance, and frameworks that individual game teams can adapt and implement.

  • Unified Monetization Philosophy: Develop a cross-portfolio approach that balances revenue growth with player experience, and ensure consistent application across all titles.

  • Portfolio-Wide Opportunity Identification: Identify cross-game trends and opportunities, including pricing benchmarks, promotional cadences, and live ops patterns, to drive portfolio-wide performance improvements.

  • Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of competitive landscape shifts and emerging monetization models in free-to-play and social casino gaming, bringing actionable insights back to the organization.

  • Consulting & Team Enablement: Act as an embedded partner to game-level monetization directors and leads, providing strategic input on store design, event scheduling, economy balance, and VIP programming.

  • Monetization Reviews: Lead regular monetization reviews across titles, identifying gaps, risks, and growth levers and helping teams prioritize and execute against them.

  • Shared Playbook Development: Build and maintain a monetization playbook and shared library of proven strategies, templates, and frameworks available to all game teams.

  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop monetization talent across the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and player-first thinking.

  • Analytics Leadership: Champion a rigorous, analytics-led approach to monetization across the US portfolio, partnering with Analytics to develop shared reporting standards and performance dashboards.

  • Forecasting Oversight: Review and challenge revenue forecasts, A/B testing frameworks, and performance analyses across games to ensure consistency and rigor.

  • Executive Reporting: Synthesize portfolio-level insights to inform senior leadership on monetization health, risks, and opportunities across the US portfolio.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Product, Design, Economy, Marketing, and Customer Support leaders across all US titles to ensure monetization strategies are integrated into the broader player experience.

  • Senior Stakeholder Representation: Represent monetization in senior leadership discussions, advocating for strategies that balance short-term revenue needs with long-term player retention and satisfaction.

  • Innovation & Best Practices: Continuously evaluate new monetization mechanics and models, piloting them in partnership with individual game teams and driving a culture of structured experimentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Game Development, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in monetization, live operations, or product management in the gaming industry, with a strong preference for free-to-play or social casino experience.

  • Proven track record of leading or consulting on monetization strategy across multiple game titles or at a portfolio level.

  • Confident analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and can translate complex performance data into clear strategic direction.

  • Deep expertise in free-to-play business models, player lifecycle economics, pricing strategies, and live ops.

  • Experienced cross-functional collaborator who can build trust and influence across product, analytics, design, and marketing teams.

  • Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, and I know when to do each.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working across multiple game genres or titles simultaneously, either in a leadership or consulting capacity.

  • Familiarity with predictive modeling, LTV forecasting, and game economy design.

  • Proficiency with data tools such as Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms.
