Job description

CardVault Breaks is one of the fastest growing live-stream sports card breaking operations in the industry, broadcasting daily across Fanatics Live, eBay Live, and Whatnot. Our team is responsible for generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly live sales while delivering an elite customer experience to collectors worldwide.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Breaks Operations Manager to support the daily execution of our live operations. This role will work closely with leadership, breakers, inventory teams, and marketing to ensure our streams, inventory, and operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and logistics, and wants to play a key role in scaling a rapidly growing business in the sports collectibles industry.

As Breaks Operations Manager, a typical day might include the following:

Live Stream Operations

  • Overseeing nightly Shopify ring-outs and reconciliation of all live stream sales

  • Ensuring all live streams are scheduled and uploaded at least 72 hours in advance across all platforms

  • Managing the breakers and program managers daily show schedules
  • Ensuring streams are fully populated with accurate product listings, pricing, and descriptions prior to going live

Inventory & Logistics

  • Managing inventory tracking and stock levels across all CardVault Breaks products

  • Monitoring product availability and notifying leadership when reorders or rebuys are needed
  • Assisting with maintaining weekly and monthly accurate inventory counts within Shopify and internal tracking systems
  • Coordinating inventory transfers between Boston and Foxborough locations to ensure optimal stock allocation

Financial & Performance Tracking

  • Assisting with financial forecasting for each product category (baseball, football, basketball, soccer, F1, TCG, etc.)

  • Maintaining and updating the live stream performance tracking sheets used to analyze nightly results

  • Helping track operational KPIs such as GMV, margins, product mix, and sell-through rates
  • Responsible for ensuring pricing targets and break margins are kept current across all streams

Marketing & Content Coordination

  • Monitoring and managing CardVault Breaks social media accounts to ensure daily posts and stories are scheduled

  • Coordinating with the creative team on promotional graphics and marketing assets for upcoming streams

  • Ensuring live streams are properly promoted across social platforms and community channels
  • Assisting with the production and scheduling of promotional videos highlighting upcoming shows, products, and events
  • Other duties as assigned
