Please be aware that this position requires the employee to live on-site at the property where they work. This is a condition of employment. The selected candidate must apply for and qualify for an apartment home under the same criteria as any other resident. This requirement is complemented by a generous employee rent discount.

Position Overview

As our Onsite Porter, you are essential to maintaining the fantastic curb appeal of the community you call home. You are the reason our property looks its best, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for your fellow residents. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and seeing the results of their hard work every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grounds amp; Curb Appeal: Maintain the cleanliness of the entire property by walking the grounds daily to remove litter and debris, cleaning walkways, and ensuring dumpster areas are tidy.
  • Common Area Upkeep: Ensure all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and pool areas, are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
  • Light Maintenance amp; Support: Assist the maintenance team with light-duty tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting touch-ups, changing locks, and helping prepare vacant units for new residents.
  • Resident Support: Distribute community notices to residents and provide a friendly, helpful presence on the property.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or landscaping is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate!
  • Ability to meet the company's resident screening criteria to qualify for on-site housing.
  • A strong work ethic and a great eye for detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking and standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
