Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Underground Utility Locator based in Chicago, IL. The Underground Utility Locator will be responsible for identifying and marking underground utilities using specialized equipment. Daily tasks include conducting thorough site assessments, documenting findings, and ensuring the safety of underground utility infrastructure. The role also involves collaborating with team members and clients to prevent utility damage during excavation activities.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of utility locating, excavation, and experience in the utility industry
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including the use of mapping tools and reporting software
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients effectively
