Looking for a Talented Overnight Security Officer

Looking for a talented Overnight Security Officer to join our team and significantly contribute to reopen our newly remodeled resort in the American Riviera, Santa Barbara!

What You Will Do:
  • Safeguard the resort, guest and employees' property from vandalism, theft and any kind of crime.
  • Monitor and control the movement of all employees, visitors, and contractors leaving or entering the resort through the staff entrance.
  • Handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion and efficiency.
  • Record and control all visitors' belongings / items when entering and leaving the resort premises through the employee entrance or loading dock.
  • Ensure that unauthorized personnel do not gain access to the resort floors and back of the house areas.
  • Be fully conversant with every detail of the resort layout.
  • Ensure to check all current events, activities, and functions at the time of duty.
  • Patrol the areas of responsibility and to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
What You Bring:

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience; luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing and people-oriented personality.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language (Spanish a plus).
  • Familiar with State and local safety regulations (i.e., OSHA), CPR/First Aid certified is a plus.
  • Schedule & Availability: As our resort operates 24/7, 365 days a year, our Overnight Security Officers are expected to maintain flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
