Job description

Primary Purpose
Provides advanced engineering expertise to design, optimize, and integrate complex systems across multiple disciplines. Leads technical reviews, ensures compliance with industry standards, and delivers innovative solutions that improve operational performance and sustainability.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides engineering guidance to technicians and operators for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
  • Creates construction cost projections and evaluates the technical effort requirements for projects.
  • Contributes to implementing maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
  • Identifies potential hazards and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures cost-effective procurement of engineering materials and services.
  • Contributes to creating engineering procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
  • Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Engineering Design - A series of steps that engineers follow to find a solution to a problem.
  • Troubleshooting - The systematic process of diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, or network issues to restore normal operation.
