Job description

Our client is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead and implement process safety programs across terminal sites in Texas and Louisiana. This is a key role ensuring regulatory compliance, process risk mitigation, and a zero-incident culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for PSM, RMP, and QRA.
  • Lead HAZOPs, LOPAs, and Human Reliability Analyses.
  • Support audits, investigations, training, and SOP development.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and API standards.
ย 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or Process Safety (Masterโ€™s preferred)
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in process safety or operations within the chemical industry
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, and API 754
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and risk management skills
This position requires regular field engagement and travel between terminals.ย
