Responsibilities

Support the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing processes. Will also be responsible for providing support to the CNC department by programming, set-up, and troubleshooting.
    

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for released machines, tools, and processes.
  • Provide process documentation (work instructions, box counts, operator training documents, etc.).
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential changes in production methods.
  • Drive continuous improvement of existing processes to reduce waste.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be able to work in a team setting.
  • Experience with automated machinery.
  • Analytical, able to solve complex technical problems.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with Solidworks and/or equivalent 3D modeling software.
  • PFMEA, PFD, and control plan experience.
  • CNC programming utilizing CAD/CAM software; preferably ESPRIT.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience in a CNC setting.
