Job description

OP is partnering with a fast-growing iGaming startup to hire talented individuals to build the next generation of sweepstakes-based gaming experiences. Their platform enables seamless cross-game interactions powered by innovative mechanics. With plans to triple in size this year, they are looking for builders who thrive in fast-paced environments where ideas move from concept to live product in weeks.
What You'll Own:
  • Work directly with our Head of QA and Senior QE, splitting time between manual test execution and automation development across Playwright (web) and Maestro (mobile), while helping protect compliance-critical flows.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test cases across web and mobile.
  • Validate dual-currency mechanics for accuracy, consistency, and edge-case handling.
  • Perform exploratory testing to surface issues scripted tests and automation miss.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright (web/API) and contribute to Maestro coverage for iOS.
  • Perform API testing using Postman, aligned to our Qase test management workflow.
  • Log clear, actionable bugs in Linear with repro steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to troubleshoot defects and clarify expected behavior.
  • Contribute to CI/CD test execution (GitHub Actions) and help expand automated coverage over time.

What We're Looking For:
  • 6-9 years of QA experience, with hands-on exposure to both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, defect lifecycle, and test planning.
  • Working proficiency with at least one automation framework (Playwright strongly preferred).
  • Programming/scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python or Java a plus).
  • Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with test case management tools (Qase, TestRail, or similar) and defect trackers (Linear, Jira).
  • Strong written communication for bug reports and test evidence relied on by non-QA stakeholders.

Bonus Points:
  • Prior QA experience in gaming, iGaming, or sweepstakes products.
  • Experience testing in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment (KYC, geolocation/GeoComply, payments).
  • Exposure to mobile automation frameworks (Maestro, Appium).
  • Familiarity with feature-flagged rollouts and A/B or phased release testing.

Why Join?
  • Opportunity to work on a live, scaling product.
  • High-growth environment with strong career progression.
  • Fully remote with flexible work culture.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven team with direct leadership exposure.

Benefits:
  • 100% medical, dental & vision coverage (partial for dependents).
  • 401(k) employer match.
