What is a live in playwright?

Live In Playwrights are writers who reside within a theater or arts organization for a specified period to develop new plays and engage directly with the company. Their role often involves creating scripts, collaborating with directors and actors, and sometimes mentoring other writers. This arrangement fosters creativity and supports the ongoing development of original works for the stage.
