Job Type: Full-Time
Freight: Dry Van
Home Time: 5 days out / 2 days home

Requirements
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL
  • Must have at least 6 months of recent Class A driving experience
  • Must live in Lafayette or the immediate surrounding area
Job Details
  • Dry van freight
  • Average 1,800-2,200 miles per week
  • Average haul length: 600 miles
  • 100% no-touch freight
  • 60% drop and hook
  • No forced dispatch into NYC or the 5 boroughs
Pay & Bonuses
  • Average annual earnings: $74,000–$85,000
  • Pay package includes mandatory $0.16 per diem
  • Additional $0.01 CPM available for drivers willing to stay out 3+ weeks
  • Additional $0.01 CPM available for veterans with DD214 documentation
  • Maximum pay up to $0.66 CPM
Onboarding Bonus
  • $250 paid upon completion of orientation
    • Drivers who do not pass orientation will receive $90 per day attended
  • Additional $250 paid after first dispatched load
Performance Bonus

Monthly performance bonus available during first 6 months:

  • $0.025 CPM for drivers with under 3 years of experience
  • $0.05 CPM for drivers with 3+ years of experience
Additional Pay
  • Detention Pay: $15/hour after 2 hours (up to $80 per 24-hour period)
  • Layover Pay: $75 per 24-hour period
  • Breakdown Pay: $75 per 24-hour period plus motel expenses
  • NYC Delivery Pay: $100 delivery / $60 pickup
