Job description

Product Director, Hospitality Connectivity Services
Department: HAPI
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: USA
Description
Hapi is the hospitality industry's leading data connectivity and integration platform.
We enable hotels, groups, and their technology partners to unlock the full value of their data - connecting property management systems, central reservation systems, and third-party applications through a unified API layer. Hapi's mission is to make hospitality data work seamlessly for everyone who needs it.
This is an opportunity to own a strategic product function at Hapi. As Product Director, Connectivity Services, you will own the full lifecycle of Hapi's connectivity product line - from defining the strategy and roadmap, to sourcing and establishing integration partnerships and coordinating the team that executes the roadmap. Additionally, this role will build out the product and services associated with offering 'connectivity as a service' to hoteliers and hospitality technology providers.
You will operate as an entrepreneurial leader within Hapi, with the latitude to shape how the industry and Hapi connects.
This role is ideal for a technically fluent, commercially-minded leader who thrives in early-stage environments, has deep domain knowledge in hospitality technology integrations, and wants to build something that matters.
NOTE: This role has the potential to evolve into a general manager role, with development and activation for Hapi's 'connectivity as a service' offering.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Technical Leadership
• Define the vision and roadmap for Hapi's connectivity offerings, including PMS integrations,
API ecosystem partnerships, and emerging connectivity use cases.
• Partner closely with engineering to translate market needs into scalable, well-documented
integration products.
• Serve as the internal and external authority on connectivity architecture, data standards, and
partner technical requirements.
• Champion quality, reliability, and developer experience across all integration touchpoints.
Team Building & Operations
• Establish the processes, tooling, and operating rhythm needed to scale the product offering.
• Foster a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and customer obsession.
• Define and track KPIs that give clear visibility into health and growth of the connectivity
business.
Partner & Ecosystem Development
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with PMS vendors, CRS, guest experience
platforms, and other ecosystem partners.
• Identify and prioritize new integration opportunities based on market demand and strategic
value.
• Represent Hapi in industry forums, partner conversations, and customer engagements as the
connectivity subject matter expert.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You bring a compelling combination of technical depth, commercial instinct, and leadership
experience.
Specifically:
• 7+ years of experience in hospitality technology, SaaS connectivity, or API-driven platforms,
with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven P&L ownership or business unit management experience - you understand what it
takes to build and grow a revenue-generating product line.
• Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, data integration patterns, and the hospitality tech
ecosystem (PMS, POS, CRS, Guest Experience Platforms, etc.).
• Track record of building and scaling teams in early or growth-stage environments.
• Excellent communicator - equally comfortable in board-level conversations and deep
technical architecture discussions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action.
• Experience in a GM, VP, or Director-level role at a connectivity platform, integration
middleware company, or hospitality tech vendor is strongly preferred
