Job description

Disney Live Entertainment is seeking performers to portray specific costumed character roles within a height range to perform in costume, greeting with our Guests, sign autographs and pose for photographs at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina.
Disney Character Performers: 5’5” - 5’8.5” and 5’11” - 6’4” with slender to athletic builds and warm, engaging, and outgoing personalities. Official heights will be taken within the callback setting. Character Performer roles receive a starting rate of $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities :
  • Performer should be willing to demonstrate high energy levels, a full range of body movement, basic improvisation, and guest interaction.
  • These roles require wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot weather.
  • Candidates must meet audition requirements and have the ability to meet movement and animation skill evaluations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Cross training expected in one of the following roles:
    • Recreation - Cast Members rotate through various roles, including Lifeguard, Children's Activities, and Recreation Rentals.

Basic Qualifications :
IMPORTANT: Please note that this position REQUIRES candidates meet one of the following height ranges:
  • 5'1" to 5'4" -OR- 5'5" to 5'8.5" ONLY
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
  • Full availability for any shift, three (3) days per week (Sunday, Wednesday and Friday), including nights, weekends and holidays.
