Job description

Reach Truck Forklift Operator
Location: Prince George, VA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
We are currently seeking an experienced Reach Truck Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food distribution warehouse in Prince George, VA. This position is responsible for safely operating a reach truck, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, and forklift operation.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a reach truck forklift to move, store, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload materials while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift inspections on forklift equipment.
  • Transport products safely within the food distribution warehouse while following all company safety procedures.
  • Accurately document inventory transfers and location changes using warehouse systems.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Work in refrigerated coolers and freezer environments while handling and storing food products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and company policies regarding forklift safety and material handling.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating a reach truck forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Experience with material handling, order picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
