Hartmann Studios is a full service employee-owned event strategy, design and production company with offices located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Atlanta and West Des Moines. We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our Event Production Team to produce exciting and unique events for our clients.

Position Summary

The Senior Producer ensures operational leadership and adherence to the strategic plan, while improving efficiency and optimizing workflow, production, and operations by using our internal resources. You will be responsible for establishing program best practices and efficient workflow across all teams and are directly accountable for creating, story-telling, managing and reconciling budgets associated with assigned programs. As a Senior Producer, you will support the new business development and opportunity engagement process. Beginning with initial proposal and presentation, to development of the program, to execution and finally to reconciliation, you must be able to identify solutions and leverage technologies that will set our brand and program delivery apart from our competitors. Leadership qualities are necessary, as you will be required to lead a team to develop, implement, and execute strategic and tactical global events.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall program operations, budget, and workflow.
  • Manage a team and determine responsibilities of assigned positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Develop senior-level relationships with clients that positions Hartmann Studios as a strategic advisor.
  • Oversee million dollar client relationship(s) and be responsible for budget and profit management, staffing, client satisfaction, prioritization of all deliverables and ensure quality of work meets Hartmann standards and client objectives.
  • Develop an engagement strategy and work with the team to execute the event, involving people at the optima levels for project success and overall account utilization(goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources).
  • Manage program budget profitability by negotiating statements of work, making sure work is delivered on-budget, and invoicing clients according to the proper terms.
  • Manage programs and budgets that culminate in excess of1-2 million+.
  • Participate in strategic development of new business.
  • Advocate “social” engagement to further brand presence and reinforce brand expertise.
  • Travel to a variety of programs to meet with teams and oversee the work being delivered. 25%-50% travel is expected.
  • Participate in RFPs, proposal responses, and client interactions for key accounts.
  • Develop and implement programs across functional groups and partnering agencies, including leading team meetings, keeping and tracking timelines and project logs and performing general project management.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the brand experience industry specializing in creative & strategy, multi-dimensional design and program development, and execution for Fortune 500 clients.
  • Experience with various projects types, including live event, consumer marketing, web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting.
  • Experience in sourcing and managing all aspects of live events, including AV for entertainment, general session and breakouts, registration, exhibit and trade shows, graphics, event flow, creative, food and beverage, transportation, parties/evening events, as well as sourcing and managing both US and international vendors.
  • Experience in content development (event theme/messaging, speaker support, video, web/social media, mobile apps, live demo a plus).
  • Proven experience managing million dollar accounts successfully.
  • Ability to translate the creative concept into a real-life brand experience and to define solutions that will generate measurable results for the client.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to think quickly under pressure, as well as to motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results.
  • Excellent problem solving and challenge resolution skills.
  • Diplomacy & tact in challenging situations and in dealing with many personality types and working styles.
  • Agile, creative mind with refined aesthetic sensibilities.
  • Proven leadership, team-building and client service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills (especially contract negotiations) with both clients and partners.
  • Strong skills in all MS Office and G Suite programs.
