Job Description
- Represent clients in medical malpractice and civil litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
- Interview witnesses and work with expert witnesses to build strong case strategies.
- Collaborate closely with partners, attorneys, and support staff throughout each case.
- Advise clients regarding legal rights, litigation strategy, and case developments.
- Assist with managing litigation matters from initial filing through resolution.
- Maintain organized case files while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Kansas Bar license in good standing.
- 1+ years of medical malpractice or civil litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
