Job description

Amentum is seeking a knowledgeable resource with broad knowledge of the governments IT environment and Relativity experience to join a team of legal professionals in providing support to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington DC.

Successful candidate will:

  • Responsible for coordinating technical aspects of electronic discovery for database.
  • Assist with strategic and legal aspects for electronic discovery
  • Consults with litigation teams to effectively develop and apply technical strategies to design database.
  • Participates in legal proceedings, i.e. 26(f) conferences, prepares affidavits.
  • Oversees the creation of statistical reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to create search strategies.
  • Manage work order queue.
  • Provide desk side relativity training.
  • Lead technical support for generating outgoing productions, not limited to qc of coding fields.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience providing eDiscovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving complex eDiscovery challenges.
  • Must have extensive Relativity experience.
  • Proven ability to assist remote users to access and navigate Relativity workspace.
  • Extensive data processing experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess detailed planning and organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
  • Prior knowledge and experience managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies.
  • Advanced experience planning eDiscovery efforts, managing client expectations, and working with clients to minimize their risk exposure.
  • Must be proficient in a wide range of technologies and be knowledgeable as to eDiscovery industry "best practices" including an understanding of multiple tools and processes associated with large scale complex eDiscovery response.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines.
  • Managerial experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
  • 100% in office position.

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
  • Certification in eDiscovery program strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a litigation support environment would be extremely helpful,
  • Trial support experience a plus.

Compensation Details:

$95,000.00 - $109,000.00

The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
