Job description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Spokane office. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal, preferably in a large law firm setting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in litigation support and case management.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience drafting and organizing discovery – both written discovery and document production.
  • Experience preparing for and assisting at trial.
  • Familiarity with the State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedures.
  • Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, performing factual and legal research, reviewing, and analyzing documents, and supporting preparations for hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery.
  • Research, organize, and summarize records as needed to assist in data gathering, including organizing information and documents in databases.
  • Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors, and live trial support
  • Other duties as assigned.

The yearly salary range is between $74,500-$95,000. This position is open to all experience levels. The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, including the location where the position is filled.
