About the OpportunityLHH is working with a collaborative, client-focused law firm is seeking a
Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in Portland, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation matters involving
real estate disputes, title litigation, professional liability (including attorney defense), and complex commercial disputes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys
hands-on litigation work, values a

Work Environment- First 60 days onsite for onboarding and training
- Hybrid schedule available thereafter (up to 2 remote days per week)
- Highly collaborative team environment, working closely with experienced litigation attorneys

Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload and support larger, complex litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and oversee discovery processes
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials (with opportunities to lead)
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client service
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality legal work
Qualifications- 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
- Experience with business disputes, real estate litigation, or commercial litigation strongly preferred
- Background may include a mix of litigation types; however:
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to client service and professional growth

- Bonus structure: Typically $5,000-$15,000+ annually based on billable performance
- Billable requirement: ~1400 hours (well below market average) with bonus eligibility above threshold
