Job description

We're Hiring: Litigation Associate (3โ€“6 Years) 

Denver, CO | In-Person or Hybrid | Werge & Corbin Law Group


Werge & Corbin Law Group is a small-but-mighty law firm focused on providing efficient and high-quality legal services to small businesses, individuals, creatives, and nonprofits. We are looking for a motivated Litigation Associate who is eager to support the firmโ€™s active litigation practice, by working both independently and collaboratively, doing real legal work, with active and open communication, to help our amazing clients.


We are looking for an attorney with 3โ€“6 years of litigation experience who wants to do meaningful work for real clients.  You'll work alongside our team of experienced attorneys, while managing some of your own matters, and also working on case and trial teams for larger matters.


What You'll Do:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation filings
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Manage discovery, including written discovery and document review
  • Take and defend depositions as your experience grows
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other proceedings with appropriate support
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
  • Handle litigation tasks independently while knowing when to seek guidance


Our Practice Areas: Small business litigation, partnership disputes, contract and employment matters, complex commercial collections, and music copyright litigation.


What We're Looking For:

  • Active admission to practice in Colorado
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
