Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of commercial litigation matters, including conducting factual investigations, legal research, drafting key court documents, participating in depositions, and communicating with clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct extensive, complex legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
  • Participate in court appearances, presenting arguments and evidence clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on high-profile and complex cases.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
  • Maintain client relationships and work directly with clients to address their legal concerns and needs.
  • Contribute to business and client development activities.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the state.
  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Proficient in motion practice, legal research, and legal writing.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong understanding of commercial law.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation matters.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Experience in client and business development activities is a plus.
