A litigation assistant provides administrative support at a law firm or legal department. As a litigation assistant, your job duties may include conducting research, preparing documents for court hearings, scheduling meetings, and providing case status updates to clients. The career typically requires an associate degree or certificate as a legal secretary or legal assistant and previous work experience in a law firm.
