Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking an Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Seattle, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of environmental and mass tort litigation experience to join a nationally recognized Environmental Enforcement & Regulatory Counseling practice. The successful candidate will represent clients in complex environmental litigation, regulatory enforcement matters, and mass tort disputes across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in environmental litigation, regulatory enforcement proceedings, and mass tort matters.

  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.

  • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings.

  • Conduct legal research, factual investigations, and discovery.

  • Assist with negotiations involving regulatory agencies and environmental disputes.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex litigation and regulatory matters.

  • Work directly with clients to develop litigation strategies and practical compliance solutions.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Active membership in a U.S. state bar.

  • 3-5 years of environmental and mass tort litigation experience.

  • Experience handling environmental enforcement, regulatory, or complex litigation matters.

  • Interest in aerospace and product liability litigation is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
