Job Summary

Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the (Student Only) Part-Time position of Covington Public Schools Literacy Assistant. Students in this position will serve as a literacy assistant for grades K-5 at one of the Covington, Ky independent schools.

Job Duties:

Works with school supervisor to provide program support which can include reading to students, tutoring, helping with program setup and preparation, paperwork/record keeping and participating in enrichment activities with students.
Work Hours: Flexible
Shift Type: Daytime Monday - Friday (late afternoon/evening opportunities may be available)
Hours Per Week: Up to 20

Minimum Qualifications:

Good organizational skills; dependable and able to stick to a schedule; good communication skills; work well with individuals and groups; able to follow policies and procedures; maintain a safe and orderly environment. Must have transportation to Covington.
