Job Description

The Director of Sales for Liquibox North America is responsible for leading the Core Sales organization across a $175MM portfolio, driving customer retention, expansion, and regional growth. Reporting to the General Manager, Liquibox North America, this leader oversees a regionalized sales team focused on strengthening customer relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering profitable growth.

This role is both strategic and people-focused, with a strong emphasis on developing sales talent, reinforcing commercial excellence, and building a high-performing sales culture. The Director of Sales partners closely with the Vice President of Business Development to align growth strategies, coordinate customer engagement efforts, and accelerate business expansion opportunities.

The successful candidate will maintain strong involvement with key customer relationships while leading the organization through a “deep and wide” customer engagement philosophy that strengthens executive relationships, expands organizational connectivity, and drives long‑term partnership growth.

This role is located in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

  • Lead the Liquibox North America Core Sales organization across a $175MM portfolio.
  • Drive customer retention, account expansion, and regional growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Partner closely with the Vice President of Business Development to coordinate growth priorities and market expansion efforts.
  • Support pricing, forecasting, commercial execution, and portfolio growth initiatives.

Customer Engagement

  • Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships across key accounts.
  • Expand customer engagement through a “deep and wide” relationship strategy across multiple functions and leadership levels.
  • Ensure strong alignment between customer needs, commercial strategy, and operational execution.
  • Support the resolution of complex customer issues while reinforcing long‑term partnership value.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales organization.
  • Reinforce sales processes, training, and commercial discipline across the team.
  • Build organizational capability through active talent development, succession planning, and recruitment.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Spend significant time coaching and evolving the organization rather than operating as an individual contributor.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in packaging, manufacturing, industrial, or related industries.
  • Proven success leading regional or national sales organizations with responsibility for growth and customer retention.
  • Strong experience developing sales talent and building high-performing commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level customer relationships and drive strategic account growth.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience operating in matrixed and customer‑centric organizations preferred.
Pay Transparency

Total Target Compensation (Base + Commission):

$ 164,800 - $265,305

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs. Sealed Air offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits designed to promote well‑being.
