Coordinator, Content Strategy & Library Management

Department: Sales & Distribution Location: Santa Monica, CA, US, 90404

Summary of Position The Coordinator, Content Strategy & Library Management supports the global coordination of the studio's film and television library. This role will ensure all priority titles are properly positioned, fully enabled, and commercially optimized—supporting the SVP and Manager, Content Strategy & Library Management to create long-term franchise value across all platforms and windows. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as part of a strategic team which will be the central point of accountability for title prioritization, franchise sequencing, slate tracking, metadata and materials readiness, and cross-functional alignment across Sales, Research, Production, Marketing, Operations, and Legal.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar, schedule meetings, and submit expenses on behalf of the SVP, Content Strategy & Library Management.
  • Track new release film & series product in the Global Release Schedule.
  • Support the Content Strategy & Library Management team by identifying priority titles for renewal conversations, aligning with sales strategy, performance trends, and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Acquisitions & Rights Management teams to own end-to-end title readiness, ensuring new titles are input into systems in a timely manner and avails display accurately with complete metadata and artwork.
  • Understand territory footprints, rights & availability including applicable restrictions/holdbacks on a by-title basis.
  • Liaise with marketing to create and consolidate materials for sales including one-sheets, decks & screeners.
  • Present new title opportunities to the sales team and distribute materials for further review.
  • Maintain the team's organizational folder system to store all internal and external files.
  • Coordinate with the Motion Picture Group to track release strategies, including timing, screen count and P&A.
  • Track preliminary financial targets for new film/series content.
  • Communicate metadata needs and corrections to the operations team.
  • Support the Global Content Strategy & Planning team on key and/or ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in television or film distribution, library management, or related fields.
  • General understanding of global television markets (linear, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, digital).
  • Must possess the ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly, take accountability for tasks, and proactively anticipate needs.
  • Capable of working with large cross-functional teams and organizations.
  • Excellent organization, note taking, and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, quality and timeliness.

Additional Requirements

  • This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
