Job description

Summary of Position
The Director, Global Channels & New Media Finance is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across Lionsgate's Global Channels businesses. This role helps ensure leadership has clear visibility into financial performance while maintaining disciplined planning processes that support the company's growth objectives.
Working in close partnership with business leadership and the broader FP&A team, this role supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across a broad portfolio of FAST and SVOD channels, as well as other channel-based, self-directed distribution businesses that leverage the breadth and depth of Lionsgate's library.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead annual budget, long-range planning, and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Channels business
  • Oversee the quarterly revenue accruals process, coordinating closely with the accounting and business teams to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain and update financial models used to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability across the channel portfolio
  • Work with business teams to translate operational plans into financial forecasts and resource requirements
  • Monitor financial risks and opportunities relative to plan and assist in updating forecasts as needed

Financial Performance Reporting
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the Global Channels business, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
  • Build and maintain live, dynamic KPI dashboards
  • Prepare financial reporting materials summarizing business performance and outlook

Financial Analysis & Decision Support
  • Build financial models to analyze and support new business initiatives including channel launches, partnership agreements, and investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models used to assess business performance and potential growth scenarios

Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical roles
  • Experience at a studio, streaming service, or other major media company strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Comfort working with and analyzing large, complex datasets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities; comfort navigating ambiguity and incomplete information
