Role : Linux admin
Location: Austin Texas (Within 1 Month onsite)
JD:
• At least 3+ years of experience in Linux Administration
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems RedHat, CentOS, Linux shells and standard utilities, and common Linux security tools
• Perform security remediation and resolve vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure
• Scan and analyse applications with automated tools, and perform manual testing if necessary
• Reduce risk by analysing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
• Knowledge on Yum, rpms, Satellite server
• Basic knowledge on any of Big data ecosystem HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, HBase and Kafka.
• Certification on RHCE and HDPCA/CCA would be a plus
