Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the financial and accounting system
  • Supervise and support office staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily processes
  • Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing
  • Reconcile the bank accounts for the company every single day
  • Handle confidential records and dealership financial data with discretion
  • Prepare monthly budgets and financial statements on time as required
  • Forecast financial goals for each quarter to maintain company profitability
  • Review all financial statements and ledgers, and work with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies. Meet minimum of once a week to review.
  • Prepare all state sales taxes and filing forms with the government
  • Meet with the department managers to regularly review business matters as needed
  • Cross-train in all accounting positions

Qualifications
  • 5 years of previous automotive accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational communication problem solving and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications or the equivalent
  • Clean background driving record and valid driver's license
