We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and motivated Line Striping Paint Crew Lead to oversee and manage a crew responsible for pavement marking and line striping projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in line striping, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to manage job sites effectively while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew in the application of pavement markings, including parking lot striping, road markings, curb painting, and ADA-compliant markings.
  • Operate and maintain striping equipment (airless sprayers, TBL Durables application, grinders, etc.).
  • Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and specifications to ensure accurate line placement.
  • Manage daily job site tasks including equipment setup, paint mixing, and clean-up.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
  • Train and mentor new crew members to uphold company standards and productivity.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Document work performed, materials used, and crew hours.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 23 years of experience in line striping, pavement marking or commercial painting.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus).
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed (many projects are off-hours).
