Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Line Manager to drive product strategy, market adoption, and commercial success for our timing solutions in high-growth markets, including data center networking and AI compute. This role combines strategic outbound marketing with hands-on collaboration with the cross-functional product development team to accelerate new product introduction, customer engagement and revenue growth. In this role, you will be a member of a close-knit product line management team, working across business unit, R&D, and sales organizations to drive commercial success.
Responsibilities
  • Product Management & Strategy
    • Contribute to product roadmap development and business case creation aligned with growth opportunities in data center infrastructure, optical networking, telecommunications, and industrial markets.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into market requirements .
    • Support product lifecycle management from concept through end-of-life
    • Support pricing strategy, business models, and competitive positioning
  • Customer & Market Engagement
    • Partner with global sales and field application engineering teams to develop customer engagement strategy within target market segments
    • Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand application requirements, identify new opportunities, and position Skyworks timing products for adoption.
    • Support key customer design-ins through technical presentations, both virtually and in person.
  • Go-to-Market & Product Marketing
    • Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
    • Create sales enablement materials including presentations, competitive analyses, product collateral, application notes, and sales training content.
    • Support cross-functional product launches across multiple geographies
    • Analyze market adoption, customer feedback and competitive trends to improve product positioning and drive commercial success.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, sales, and executive leadership teams to drive successful product outcomes.
    • Present market trends, business updates, and product recommendations to internal stakeholders including the leadership team.

Required Experience and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
    • 5+ years [NS1] of experience in semiconductor product management, product marketing, technical marketing, sales, field applications, or related cusotmer-facing roles
    • Experience in one or more of the following markets: data center infrastructure, networking equipment, optical networking, telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, industrial automation, or related semiconductor markets
    • Experience with frequency control, timing, clocking, or similar analog/mixed-signal semiconductor products preferred
    • Strong understanding of semiconductor product development, manufacturing, and product lifecycle management processes
    • Ability to read datasheets, understand technical specifications, and engage in technical discussions
    • Familiarity with market analysis (TAM/SAM/SOM modeling), competitive positioning, business case development and go-to-market are a plus
    • Problem-solving mindset: Natural ability to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions
    • Communication excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging for a diverse set of audiences (executives, engineers, sales teams, customers)
    • Results orientation: Self-starting attitude with strong bias for action and accountability for outcomes
    • Creativity: Ability to develop innovative approaches to customer engagement, competitive positioning, and sales enablement
    • Collaboration: Works effectively across functions including sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership
    • Business acumen: Understanding of P&L dynamics, market segmentation, and value-based pricing

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $114,400 - $220,200 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
