Join us as a Cleaner!

Weavers Way Co-Op is looking for an energetic, community-oriented, and experienced individual to work as a Cleaner in our Mt. Airy location. This is a Low-time position, with an estimated 10 hours per week. Sunday and Wednesday, 5 pm-10 pm with variation for holidays/early closures. If you have experience working in a team setting, have a high standard of cleanliness, and want to get involved with your community, then we want to hear from you!


Cleaner Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
  • Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and shelves.
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
  • Emptying trash cans.
  • Washing and drying windows.
  • Liaising with the line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
  • Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
  • Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.

Requirements

Cleaner Requirements:

  • ย A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-opย 
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
  • Lifting up to 50lbs.
  • The ability to be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op
